After the death of her brother, Lisa Satterly-Patchem found herself craving a memorial of him. Friends and family asked her to make a ‘portrait that will continue honoring his legacy’ to help remember him. After the success of this, she realized that there was momentous hole in society where portraits were not only absent from home walls, but that heirloom portraits were not being passed down onto future generations. Lisa wanted to bring back traditional portraits, thus, Satterly Portraiture was born.
A Heirloom Portrait is so much more than a portrait hanging on the wall.
It’s a celebration and a memory. It’s a work of art, handed down through generations, that truly immortalizes a person’s life. It’s a family heirloom, the perfect way to beautifully share a family member’s legacy, over and over again.
